Only 1 Vintage machine this year but 8 Post vintage entered were this class normally struggles in previous years but a good selection of machines including 2 Morgans, 2 Velocettes, OK Supreme, P&M, Scott & Sunbeam took part in the class this time.
All the other machines entered in other classes were AJS, Ariel, BSA, Royal Enfield, Honda, Yamaha, BMW, Lomax, Matchless Moto guzzi, Triumph.

Last year's winners were first away at 11.01 from Llandeilo car park with the rest leaving at 1 minute intervals on a fairly tight twisty morning run with a couple of shallow fords on route via Capel Issac, Abergorlech, then just after Esgairdawe the morning checkpoint of 21 ish miles before continuing to Pumpsaint past the gold mines then onto Caio then heading to the 1 hour lunch stop at Llanwrda which saw a couple of heavy hail showers when the first riders arrived.

The afternoon route was a easier run into Llandovery were the main St was closed so a slight diversion was in place, Myddfai was next then past the Red kite centre then came the afternoon checkpoint on the Bethlehem Rd on the common at Felindre with only 20 riders arriving here some turned left to soon up the road so adding 50 points to their score for missing the checkpoint the others who missed had retired for different reasons.

It was only about 14 miles to the finish Straight on at Ffairfach into the Tawe valley a short distance and through the ford out behind the Cottage Inn on the A40 a couple of mile now back to the finish from were they started.
Most competitors said they had a enjoyable event & enjoyed the route, so good was the route a week later the Ovo Energy Ladies cycle tour of Britain used some of the same roads!!.
